Influenza A Virus/Influenza B Virus Nucleic Acid Detection Kit
Influenza is an acute febrile respiratory infection caused by influenza virus, which seriously endangers people's health. Influenza viruses, including human and animal influenza viruses, are classified into four types: A (A), B (B), C (C) and D (D).
Influenza A can be divided into various subtypes. Currently, HA and NA have 18 (H1-18) and 11 (N1-11) subtypes respectively. It is mainly spread by droplet, and the typical clinical manifestations are protuberance, fear of cold, high fever, headache, systemic pain, weakness and other systemic toxic symptoms, and the respiratory symptoms are relatively mild. The disease is often self-limited, the course of disease is generally 3 ~ 4 days. Pneumonia can be complicated by infants, the elderly, patients with cardiopulmonary diseases and other chronic diseases or those with low immune function, and the prognosis is poor.
Influenza virus is antigenically flexible and spreads rapidly, causing seasonal epidemics each year and outbreaks in crowded places such as schools, nurseries and nursing homes. The annual seasonal influenza pandemic causes 3 million to 5 million severe cases and 290,000 to 650,000 respiratory disease-related deaths worldwide.
This kit can identify influenza A/B virus in human throat swab. It is intended for use as an aid in diagnosing influenza virus infection and providing molecular-diagnostics-based solution.
