This diagnostic kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification test for the detection of mycoplasma pneumonia (MP) DNA in human throat swab. It is intended for use as an aid in diagnosing MP infection and providing molecular-diagnostics-based solution.

Based on real-time fluorescence PCR technology, the kit can amplification conservative region on the sequence of MP-DNA. The PCR detection system uses internal control to monitor the presence of PCR inhibitors in order to avoid a false negative result.
